Vicki Mynhier

President

As a landscape architect, I  designed and installed landscapes for twenty three years in Dallas.  I discovered many different ways to express  creativity, from gourmet cooking, sewing, photography and art. Oil painting is my passion.

Jennifer Rausch

Development Director

As a retired engineer, I’m embracing my artistic side through watercolor painting. Other hobbies include enjoying the outstanding outdoor activities right outside my door in Palmer Lake.

Bonnie Sands

I am a retired High school Art Teacher from District #38. I believe everyone should have some form of art in their lives to be well rounded. I have two really fun grandchildren, a husband who is in a band on the side, and two energetic dogs who keep me sane.

Tim

Branaman

I have been a supporter of the arts community in the Palmer Lake area for many years both as a collector and as a funder of art education as a founding member of the Palmer Lake Arts Council.

Catherine McGuire

Helping to bring Performance Art to Palmer Lake is my role with The Arts Council. I have  performed for commercials, screen, TV and theater. I facilitated getting theater, comedy, music and film to Palmer Lake One of my favorites was Native American Flute Player, Chief Standing Bear and his keyboard player.

It is very gratifying to see the terrific turnouts for our Performing artists and how well they are received.

Walt Moore

After 30 years in environmental studies, I decided to explore a longtime interest in pottery. I took classes for a few years, got into a studio and spent a lot of time on the pottery wheel. I ran my own studio with a partner for ten years and now have a studio in my house. After 14 years of “pottering” I am now a confirmed pottery addict who loves to create both functional and artistic forms. I teach wheel throwing and love to help students learn new techniques. The look on someone’s face when they first “get it” is wonderful.
